Augusta Mae Wott
Owner/Farrier
Augusta Mae Wott is the Owner and Farrier at AMW Equine Services LLC. She started by trimming her own horses and caught the farrier and equine foot bug in 2018. Found her self soon trimming for friends. After finishing her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science at the University of Findlay she decided to start AMW Equine Services, LLC. Where her prior work in training horses, equine nutrition, and equine biomechanics could all come together to help support and educate clients.

She is a mentee and student of Daisy Haven Farm: School of Integrative Hoofcare since 2019. Where she continues to go back to continue her education in laminitis rehabilitation and other aspects of hoofcare rehab.
​
She is also started in adding bodywork certifications to her tool bag to help her clients further in their rehabilitation.
​
When she is not working with clients horses she is helping on her family farm in their day to day operations in raising beef cattle and producing hay and grain products. She also assists with farm duties at her boyfriends farm in helping with hay production, cattle, and sheep.
